My name is Lisa, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Alsdorf, a little town near Aachen, Germany – directly located in the beautiful tri-border region of Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
From 2016 to 2019 I did my bachelor’s degree “Literary Studies and English Linguistics” at the RWTH Aachen University.
During my studies in Aachen, I explored several facets of the media world. I got insights into radio journalism at 100’5 DAS HITRADIO. in Eupen, Belgium, public relations work for municipal utilities in my hometown, and newspaper journalism in Buenos Aires.
Lastly, I discovered my passion for online marketing in a marketing and PR agency in Aachen.
After I graduated from my bachelor’s degree I decided to start the master’s program “Media Studies: Digital Cultures” in Maastricht. Now I’m excited to get closer insights into what impacts digital media have on our everyday lives and how our own understanding of the world has changed due to media.
