People who consider themselves as game players, also having a rich or simple experience playing games with others especially female players.
Introduction:
This interview protocol is designed for interviewees who regard themselves as video game players. This protocol is for an open-ended semi-structured interview, and has been reviewed in conjunction with the interviews. Interviews are estimated to last between 60 and 90 minutes.

- Topic: How online gamers understand online gaming culture from a gender perspective
- Focus: Interviewees’ attitude towards girls and acknowledgement towards online gaming environment for girls.
- Goal: Gain a better understanding of ordinary players’ attitudes towards online gaming environment and to raise awareness about misogyny and gender injustice in games.
- Privacy: By default, the information will be anonymized when published.
- Record: Record the interview for purpose of reporting/analysis only: permitted?
- You should of course feel free to interrupt or terminate the interview at any time that you want.

- Can you give an approximate number about how many different games you have played until now?
- To what extent does the time you spend on video games account for your daily life?
- Do you play more online games or stand-alone games?
- How would you value yourself as a gamer? Skilled? Normal? Noob?

- On which game you spend the most time?
- How do you like this specific game community? What makes you keep on playing this game?
- Could you describe your online roles when playing with other gamers?
- And how do you think about others’ roles when you are playing together? Could you give some example?
