Hey there!

My name is Elena and I am currently a masters student in Media Studies: Digital Cultures at Maastricht University.

A linguaphile with a passion for photography, travels, and different forms of art. I belong to the generation that grew up experiencing the digitalization of our society. Starting with Tetris and landline telephones, we now enjoy a plethora of benefits of the new media, namely telepresence and virtual or augmented reality. My exposure to these experiences from an early age and my fascination over new media’s reciprocal relationship with society has been growing on me ever since.
