My biggest issue of the process 3 D image was taking the proper pictures. First I used lazy Susan and light box but the problem was I couldn’t keep the right angle and distance, so the software didn’t align properly the pictures. My second try was putting the object on the floor( I use the floor because I had more space to go around) with markers and using the flash for better light and no shadows, after I went around it and it will work well. As equipment I use IPhone pro 11 and transferring the pictures from my phone was easy. My pictures didn’t have any noise and the details were captured. My goal was to make perfect workflow and build good library of my object.

But I have few images ( the top and the bottom) they didn’t align. So I did have other pictures from around and the top because my object is around shaped and the top and the bottom sides appears in all the images. Using Intelligent Sizers in order to crop the shapes helped the process to go faster. My recommendation and something that I will do differently is using computer that is meeting the requirements. For example I am Mac Air user and the processing time was over 10 hours because of my Ram availability. I will mention that the computer hardly made it to the end of the process. After processing I didn’t manage to obtain a clear image of the Saint because of small amount of triangles.
Because of the processing power it took more then 10 hours and over heat my computer and I was afraid if I can finish the task and still have computer. Also the image is painted on a rock which is a rough surface.
For sure projects like this should be done with proper equipment.
